Hello Everyone!
We apologize for our absence of updates,...but, it is hard to describe how crazy things have been!
Many of you have been asking us what we're doing, now that our time to move has officially come...so, here is the run down:
Lord willing by mid-week(*groan*,..tomorrow, please!), we will have everything pertaining to us, moved out of (what we now refer to as!) the "old" house. We ourselves, have not been staying at the house for the past week or so; but with most the adults of the house working during the day, getting everything moved out has proved to be a much longer process then hoped for :(
We are currently residing at some dear friends house while they are on vacation for a few weeks. The house (that we are temporarelly staying at) is only about fifteen minutes away from "the old house" which is very handy while we're moving stuff. =)
***Our dear friends also are letting us use their (good sized) shop to store our stuff temporarely, which has been such a blessing! Thus we are moving our things into the shop. LOL, not to mention our neighbors(from the "old house")let us put some things at their place, oh, and Mallory's boss..., and another friends shed! Can you imagine moving everything that belongs to a family of 11 1/4( hey JD, you still left some things behind!), but not having one place(e.g, a home!), to move it all too?!?? Well, this results in divvying it up! But, thanks to our gracious friends on vacation, we only have to divide the "things",...and not our family. ***
We are still searching for a home to move into (of course) which is not an easy task to say the least. So, if you see or hear of anything, or, if you want more specifics on what we need in a house(since, not just any ol' regular house built these days will do for us!), please feel free to email us!
We appreciate you!

This is the official blog of the Devine Kids! Our mission is to help our family be able to live on our "dream" farm. A place where we can live healthly. Being youth in this 21st century,we know how the internet can be used for both evil and good; it is our goal to use this blog for good! We've seen our parents trying their best to support the family financially, but we want to do our part too!

Our Dream...
There is a song that says:
"There's a place for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere..."
Well, this might be a little sappy sounding, but the words to this song, in part, perfectly describe our family's dream farm.
In our vision for the "perfect" place for us to live, we see this;
A place with enough land to grow our own food; fruit trees, space for a huge organic garden, and enough pasture to grow our own organic meat!
Barns to house our milk cow(s), and also enough chickens for meat & plenty of eggs!
We love to home-can our own fruits and vegetables :)
Somewhere where we cannot only survive, but thrive!
All of our immune systems have suffered from living in a house with mold; and we believe the best way to get back to healthy living would be "open air", and healthy organic foods!
A house big enough for us to "live"; room for all of our instruments & music supplies, room for all our home school supplies, a kitchen big enough to handle the amount of dishes it takes for our family! A living room big enough for us to "live in", we love hanging out together!
Oh, and bathrooms! More then two would be a dream ;)
We aren't afraid to work hard. We've had some animals before(meat cow, pigs, lots of goats, chickens!), and we really miss them!
We love living in the country, its the best!
"There's a time for us,
Some day a time for us,
Time together with time to spare,...
...Someday!
Somewhere.
We'll find a new way of living,...
...Somewhere."
"A new way of living"; free from the incessant headaches, the frequent return of coughing & sniffles(reactions to the mold), bladder abnormalities, allergy's that we never had before(BAD cases of poison oak/ivy!), fear problems, unexplainable stomach pain, and who knows,...maybe even free from the juvenile arthritis and type 1 diabetes! We believe it is possible!
"We have a dream..." And that is to be able to function & live healthily, to be able to give a little more then we take; to be able to bless others with our time, energy & skills.
This is our dream, this is what we pray for. That we can serve others together; in a greater capacity then we ever have before.
